Hidden Hut, Roseland Peninsula

The Hidden Hut (open March to October) is a small cafe with a big difference. Found tucked away along the National Trust coastal path near Portscatho and St Mawes on the Roseland Peninsula, Cornwall; its a special spot to enjoy freshly cooked food with friends and family or simply stop off for coffee and enjoy the view.Hidden HutOpen every day, 10am-4pm between March and the end of October.Lunch served from 12-3pmNo bookings during the day. Cash only.Feast nights are can be booked online via seetickets.comThe Hidden Hut overlooks Porthcurnick beach where dogs are allowed all year round. By day, it serves simple beach-side refreshments – seasonal lunches, hot pasties, Cornish ice creams and freshly-baked cakes.  Soup Sundays happen every week during spring and autumn.By night, the hut opens on selected evenings (around three or four times a month) to host fabulous open-air feast nights!  These are outdoor, rustic, ‘bring your own plate’ affairs.  They cook just one dish per event showcasing the best of our doorstep produce and you buy tickets for the nights you wish to come to. These are released in monthly batches.Previous feasts have included ‘Lobster & Chips’, ‘Slow-roasted spring Lamb’, ‘Wood-fired Seafood Paella’, ‘Mackerel Grill’, ‘Sticky Ribs & Pulled Pork’.  They cook outdoors using either wood-fire, charcoal grill or an ever-growing collection of huge Paella pans!They are not licensed however you are welcome to bring your own bottle.
