Description

The soft, sheltered beach at Porthluney Beach is accessible from a flat, grassy car park, just behind low dunes and the beach is overlooked by the magnificent Caerhays Castle, the gardens of which are open from mid February to early June. There is a river running to the left and side and a lovely beach cafe tucked away in the dunes, which is open in the summer and on some days during the winter, depending on the weather. It’s a  beautiful, wide, sandy beach, popular with families. Dogs must be kept on leads in the summer months.
