Set back from the field leading down to the lake, Cherry occupies a tranquil spot at the bottom of our hidden valley.Kick off muddy wellies in the porch and come on into to this welcoming space with an up to date Scandi feel about it. The sleek modern gloss kitchen with granite work tops and Fired Earth tiles will have everything you need for whisking up holiday meals for the family to sit and enjoy around the farmhouse table.The lounge has fabulous views over the fields and hedgerows from the large picture windows and comfy sofas to relax in whilst having a glass of wine after the children have gone to bed. The lounge/diner has a granite inglenook fireplace with Villager gas stove.Cherry has three bedrooms: the master bedroom has king size bed with Designers Guild bedding and en-suite shower room, plus a double bedroom and a twin (with two 3ft single beds). These share a seaside inspired bathroom which with toilet, basin, bath and a separate corner shower.Hidden around the side of the cottage, you’ll find a small, private patio garden with patio table and chairs, ideal for those moments when you need a little peace and quiet with a good book or to sit enjoying a family barbecue while the sun goes down……..Best for: two couples or families sharing, ideal for families with grandparents.
