Description

Located on the western coast of the Rame Peninsula, Freathy beach is a popular upper end of the long stretch of interlinked beaches along Whitsand Bay. There is a car park at Freathy and you reach the beach via a winding, steep cliff path with lots of little chalets perched to make the most of amazing views. The beach is a long, wide expanse at low tide and broken into rocky coves at high tide, so take care not to get cut off. The views along the coast towards Polhawn Fort are spectacular and it’s a beautiful beach to enjoy walks with your dog.
