Description

Here in the heart of the village stands our 17th Century Inn, nestled in picturesque rolling countryside with a small courtyard garden and intimate restaurant. The Ring O Bells is well known locally for serving really good quality home cooked fayre at ‘pub meal’ pricesDogs are Welcome here! The Ring O Bells is a proper Cornish village pub and is a focal point for the village of St Issey and its residents. The local people are our friends and neighbours and we pride ourselves forOur local residents have a very accepting attitude to dogs and their owners, many of them have dogs of their own. This is farming country, so it is only to be expected that working dogs are a common sight in the villages. Their dogs are well trained and obedient and they expect the same to be true of visitor’s animals.Dogs are welcome in all areas except the restaurant area as long as they are well behaved. Owners with well behaved pets are never discouraged from staying in our b&b (bed and breakfast) accommodation. We do not charge a surcharge for dogs, though we do insist that they are kept under control and do not cause upset to other guests. If you wish to take advantage of our super value accommodation, please tell us at the time of booking that you intend to bring your family pet with you.Comfortable accommodation with a personal touchOur bed and breakfast accommodation is limited to just three rooms so we really do not have to advertise them widely, in fact they are something of a well kept secret. There are two double rooms, one with en-suite, the other with separate bathroom and one twin bedded room with en-suite.All our b&b rooms haveColour televisionTea and coffee making facilitiesTowels suppliedRates include high quality breakfastAvailability for single use (with supplement)where you can take your dog for a walk and enjoy the Cornish coast and countryside. The Ringers restaurant -When you go to a pub for an evening meal you expect to eat heartily for ‘not so much’, finding such places to eat in North Cornwall can be a challenge during holiday periods. You will not find overpriced ‘art on a plate’ here, two strips of carrot a square of meat or fish on a  ‘sauce-stained’ plate. What you will find is our good honest old fashioned pub food, at a price that anyone can afford with fresh local produce used wherever possible. At the Ring O Bells you will get a great night out without breaking the bank.
