The Ferry House is one of three absolute beachfront pet friendly Beach Houses located on a huge sandy beach that is dog friendly 365 days a year.The Ferry House sleeps up to 10 people, has a private heated enclosed pool and hot tub facilities.The Ferry House is one of three Beach Houses can be rented either together or individually and can sleep from 4-11 persons individually with a maximum of 26 guests in all three houses.
Two properties come with a hot tub and one also has an enclosed heated swimming pool. All of the family can have a wonderful holiday together as the location appeals to all members of the family whatever the age and whether two or four-legged. It is a special spot where even in the height of summer guests can often find that they may have the beach all to themselves and take home extra special photos and memories. No stay is complete without an evening barefoot beach stroll under the moon and stars with only the sound of the sea to accompany you.
The children will love the pool facilities or spend hours digging dams and building impressive sandcastles on the beach. Four-legged visitors truly get to stretch those legs on the huge expanse of beach outside. Typically, if the kids and hounds are happy, the grown-ups are but just in case – and because we know parents need special TLC too – we provide the opportunity to relax in the hot tub overlooking the ocean with a lovely glass of bubbles, if required.
By the end of your stay, you will feel truly grounded and rejuvenated and, like many, ask to return before you have left. The Beach House was the artist’s studio of John Miller who painted his iconic beach scenes including the Chris Rea “King of the Beach” album cover. John Miller lived next door at the Beach Bungalow and lived with the natural beauty and ever-changing colours of the views that he captured in his famous beach and sea scenes.

The Beach House can sleep up to 6 persons in 2 bedrooms plus double sofa bed in open plan living area.
The Beachpads Team are all based locally.
The owners do appreciate how special a dog is to a family as they have their own now elderly rescue Great Dane. The family previously lived full time at the location when their own children were little and are very familiar with local hidden gems and can help their guests discover the “not to miss” places. All members of the Beachpads team are very happy to answer any questions and provide assistance whenever they are able to do so.
