This beautiful, recently renovated fisherman’s cottage sleeps four (+ cot), and is only available in the summer. It’s tucked away up a typically narrow and quiet side street overlooking the harbour in the heart of the picturesque and bustling fishing village of Newlyn, in the far West of Cornwall. Kiln Cottage makes a great base for discovering Newlyn, Mousehole, the Minack Theatre, west Cornwall, St Ives, Land’s End, or any of the pristine beaches of Penwith (like Porthcurno, pictured). Kiln Cottage will transport you back to simpler times, whilst at the same time offering contemporary comfort and facilities.
Kiln Cottage is a charming self-catering holiday cottage big enough for a family, but small enough to be cosy for a couple, with beamed ceilings, an open fire and a woodburner, a well equipped kitchen, light and airy bedrooms and a delightful patio with an impressive giant avocado tree! Newlyn remains the home of Cornwall’s fishing industry, and is at the same time part of a thriving artistic community. Food lovers will be able to choose from the day’s catch from one of our local shops or alternatively can grab a table at one of our good local restaurants. Art lovers will be spoilt for choice too, with the Tate, Penlee House, Newlyn Art Gallery, The Exchange and lots of independent galleries nearby.
