Dog Walking – I’ve been walking dogs professionally since January 2010 and am insured to walk up to 6 dogs at any one time. I specialise in providing fun group walks – the dogs love to interact with each other. We always walk in safe places and dogs are transferred to and from the walk site in the safety of a crated van.
If you are interested in my walking service, please contact me for a free consultation – I come to your house to meet you and your dog – to discuss your requirements and be sure that your dog likes me. I can also answer any questions you may still have.
On the first walk, I will pick up your dog at an agreed time and go for a small group walk with a couple of other dogs, just to introduce your dog to the gang and make sure everyone is happy. I will keep your dog on a lead, just to get them used to me and the other dogs, but with your permission – and as your dog’s confidence grows – I prefer to walk dogs off lead.
Group walks – once your dog is happy and settled I will be happy to pick up your dog on a regular basis, take it for a walk with up to 5 dogs and then drop your dog home for some essential rest time. I am insured to walk up to six dogs at a time and am experienced in managing this many, so you can rest assured that your pooch is in capable hands. My favourite walking places are Perran Sands (lost church) or Wheal Charlotte. These and all locations I walk are great for the dogs because they are away from busy roads or cliff edges and provide plenty of wide open space for the dogs to run around and play.
Your four legged friends will benefit from socialisation and will love a massive play with their friends before being returned home for an afternoon snooze. Walks are undertaken at safe places, either on or off lead depending on your preference. The group walks will boost confidence and lead to a well socialised and happy dog.
Individual walks can also be undertaken outside of peak walking hours, subject to availability.
Home Boarding – Me and Evie are always glad to welcome friendly dogs to our home for a sleep over! I guarantee plenty of exercise, feeding and cuddles. Evie enjoys a game of chase or tug, but she is equally content to chill with more relaxed or older dogs. Between us we promise a fun filled and active stay for your four legged friends, however long their stay
If you are interested in dog boarding, the first step will be for you and your dog to come for a visit, to meet me and Evie and make sure we all get along (and that you are happy with the accommodation and surroundings). It may sometimes be advisable to trial an overnight stay (or even start off with a walk if this will help your dog settle in). I run a dog walking group and I often suggest that potential boarders come on one of our walks, just to get them used to group walking and some of the other dogs they will be likely to meet during their stay with me.
House Sitting – You may prefer that your dog is looked after in the comfort of your own home. If so, me and Evie can come to stay and take excellent care of your house and pets. This is a great option if you have a number of animals needing holiday care.
If this is a service you are interested in, I can come and meet you at your home to discuss your requirements, but most importantly so we can all meet each other
Why I love being a dog walker & pet sitter
I get to share lots of different pets – every day I walk different dogs and feed and cuddle them.. Perfect
