The Old Coastguard

Looking out over glistening Cornish inland waters, with views to St. Michael's Mount and the Lizard

The Old Coastguard is a dog-friendly seaside hotel situated in the delightful fishing village of Mousehole.

It is near the beaches and gardens of West Cornwall, the Minack Theatre and the artists’ studios of Newlyn, Penzance and St. Ives.

Fourteen bedrooms, nearly all looking out over glistening Cornish inland waters, with views to St. Michael’s Mount and the Lizard. It has a lovely dining room and outside terrace sitting atop a tropical garden that slopes down to the harbour wall.

Ever since its owners came to West Penwith in 2006, they have loved its slower pace of life, an opportunity for guests to beat a retreat from everyday ‘civilisation’.

The team works hard to help guests relax and unwind. Here, you will sleep in comfortable beds and eat simple, well executed food that runs with the rhythms of the season and the coastal landscape.

Open every day and all year, at The Old Coastguard they welcome you to visit and bring along your friends, dogs or children.
