The Old Lifeboat House Bistro, Penzance

Seafood restaurant

The Old Lifeboat House Bistro in Penzance is a fun, friendly, dog-loving seafood bistro. Even better, we enjoy an uninterrupted view of Penzance Harbour.

We offer Cornish cream teas, coffee and cakes and light bites. And you can enjoy an early bird menu and a full dinner menu. Check out our daily seafood specials, sourced locally. These vary depending on the catches landed at Newlyn that morning – we refuse to compromise on quality!

In addition, we have a full bar and a recently updated wine list. We have also introduced a cocktail menu which is already proving very popular.

Oh, and there’s a children’s menu too, with choices starting from £2.95.

Dietary needs? Not a problem – just contact us at the time of booking. The restaurant is also available for a range of private events. Weddings, business lunches, dinners, cocktail receptions – we’ll host them all!

The Old Lifeboat House Bistro in Penzance was once the Penzance Lifeboat Station, the oldest lifeboat station in Cornwall. It is now a Grade II listed building which has been beautifully and sympathetically restored. Come and see it for yourself!

And, yes, feel free to bring your four-legged friend. We are not too far away from the beach at Longrock, which is dog friendly all your round.
