If you’re looking for a good old fashioned country pub that just happens to be next to one of the best beaches in Cornwall – then you’ve just found it.
Not only that but we serve great food and stock stunning real ales. The Ship Inn is a truly lovely pub to stop and spend some time whilst you’re in Cornwall.
.We are located in the heart of the Cornish riviera, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) with beautiful countryside, wonderful walks and a lovely seaside village. We are situated less than 4 miles away from The Lost Gardens of Heligan and just 8 miles from the Eden Project.
We’re a family friendly and dog friendly pub
Whether you’ve popped down for a long weekend, stopping off while walking the Cornish Way or down for the whole summer, you’re welcome to stop by, have a relaxing meal and refreshing drink.
Cornwall is a great place to visit with your dog but on days out it can be difficult to find a dog friendly place to eat, just because you have a dog you don’t always want a picnic!
We are more than happy to accommodate well behaved dogs – all we ask is that you keep them on a lead and inside only use the bar area. Obviously you are more than welcome to take your dog into the garden during good weather. There are bowls of water outside the main door for them to have a drink. We would also ask that if your dogs have been in the sea or river and are muddy and wet that you’ve given them a bit of a clean before entering the pub. Thank you.
In the Winter months we have a crackling real fire to keep the chills out. We are a well established team with eager young apprentices both in the kitchen and front of house.
We have a public bar and two lounge areas along with a large beer garden over looking the old harbour where the sun shines all day long – well almost! So why not pop by and live the dream with us
We would also ask that if your dogs have been in the sea or river and are muddy and wet that you’ve given them a bit of a clean before entering the pub – thank you
