K9 Crusaders Spring Fayre and Fun Dog Show, Perrnaworthal Village Hall from 11am
Lots of stalls, homemade food and cakes, kids activities and face painting, and of course a fun dog show. Cost –£1 per class for dog show
Gwinear Show, Nancemellin Farm, Nanterrow Lane, Connor Downs
Gwinear Show is a fabulous show with a fun Dog Show that includes classes such as Dog the judge would most like to take home. There are also trade stands and a craft marquee with local producers offering their wares.
Port Eliot Dog festival, Port Eliot, St Germans 11am to 4.30pm
The annual Port Eliot Dog Festival, featuring Roo’s Whippet Tea Party and Lark’s Jumble Sale is happening once again this year and will be supporting Children’s Hospice South West. The day will have something for everyone with stalls, refreshments and entertainment for the public as well as a family dog show and agility course. The highlight of the day is Roo’s Whippet Tea Party for our canine friends. Roo and Lark, Port Eliot’s resident whippets host a tea party for all dogs to come along to. This is a unique experience both for the dogs, who get to enjoy an incredible dog-friendly spread, as well as for owners who stand back and watch the chaos unfold. www.porteliot.co.uk

National Animal Welfare Trust May Fete and Fun Dog Show, Connor Downs, Hayle
Lots of great stalls selling everything from pet accessories and dog treats. Fun games for four and two-legged competitors alike and a BBQ and refreshments, as well as the Fun Dog Show. Funds raised will support the cats and dogs at the centre.

The Royal Cornwall Show Dog Show
There are dog shows throughout all the three days of the show, with around one thousand dogs (well, their owners) hoping to come away with honours .
Canine Section Groups for 2016 Thursday – Terriers, Pastoral & Working; Friday – Utility & Toys; Saturday – Hounds & Gundogs
There is also a fun dog show again this year on the Saturday of the show – so everyone can get involved with various classes with the £1 entry fee per dog per class donated to the show’s 2 official charities.

There is a Dog Agility Show organised by Carn Brea Agility Club and a Dog Show at this year’s Stithians Show, both operated under Kennel Club Rules and both extremely popular.
